Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) GSEB HSC 12th Arts and Commerce Result 2020 announced. Gujarat Board has announced GSEB HSC Science Results 2020 and GSEB SSC Result 2020. Further the result of GSEB HSC General Stream for HSC Arts and Commerce has also been announced today.

GSEB 12th Arts & Commerce Results 2020: Passing Criteria & Grace Marks
GSEB mandates for GSEB HSC Board Exams 2020 qualifying marks is a minimum of 33% passing marks in each subject and an aggregate for the students to be declared as pass. Students who fail to achieve the same are given the option of appearing for GSEB HSC Supplementary Examinations conducted by the board. As for the grace marks, the discretion of awarding grace marks is subjective and lies with the board. In case, a student is failing with one or two marks, he or she can be awarded grace marks. Also, 33% is including internal and external (or written) examinations.
While there is no rule as such but considering the past trends, GSEB HSC Arts & Commerce results are usually the last results in the state to be announced. Usually, there is a gap of about 20 days between the GSEB Science results and the GSEB 12th General results. In 2019, the GSEB HSC Science results were released on May 9 and the Arts & Commerce results were declared on May 25. However, the 10th board results and 12th board results got delayed this year due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country. Almost all board results are delayed this year in the view of the COVID-19 lockdown imposed to control the virus spread.

Once released, students who appeared for the GSEB 12th board exams can check their 12th board exams results 2020 on the official website of the Gujarat Board i.e. ‘gseb.org’ following the steps given below:

- On the home page, enter 7 digit seat number in the input field
- A new page will open
- The page will be redirected to HSC results 2020
- Download or take a print out of the result for future use
How to check GSEB HSC Results 2020 via SMS
Students can also check their Gujarat Board 12th Results 2020 via SMS. For the same, they can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open SMS application on your mobile phone
- Type an SMS in the following format: HSCSeatNumber
- Send it to 56263.
- GSEB SSC result 2020/GSEB HSC results 2020 will be sent as an SMS on the same number.
Students must note that the GSEB 12th Results 2020 available online or via SMS is for informational purposes only. Students are advised to collect the GSEB 10th original marksheet and passing certificate from their respective school offices.
Gujarat Board Result 2020: Total number of students
This year, around 16 lakh students appeared for Gujarat Board exams, out of which around 6 lakh appeared for the 12th board exams of GSEB and the rest for 10th board exams of GSEB

Meanwhile, GSEB released the notification for the GSEB HSC Science 2020 improvement tests online. The Gujarat Board announced the GSEB HSC Science Results 2020 on May 17, 2020, on its official website i.e. gseb.org. Science stream students who were absent or could not pass the GSEB Class 12 Science Board Exams can apply for improvement tests online.
